Mission
Gender Envy exists because we care deeply about making the music scene more inclusive for gender minorities—including women, trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming folks—with a special focus on intersectionality and artists of color. We want everyone to feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
To our knowledge, we’re the only music organization in Central Illinois that’s laser-focused on uplifting gender minorities and artists of color. That means when you work with us or come to our shows, you’re part of something truly special—and needed.
